About the role#
As a Planning Analyst Intern, you will join our Family Office to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will work alongside Financial Advisors to understand how tax planning and insurance contribute to a client's overall financial health. This role offers flexible hours to accommodate your degree program.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison between Financial Advisors and product providers.
- Review new business daily to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Follow up with providers and advisors to settle transactions.
- Manage communications via phone and email to support the funding of customer accounts.
- Study for and obtain your Property and Casualty license.
- Comply with all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
- Interest in a career in financial services.
- Availability to work 20 to 25 hours per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Attention to detail and analytical problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to use constructive criticism to improve your work.
