Halff is seeking an IT Intern to join the team in the Richardson, Texas office. This role involves supporting help desk operations, managing technical resolutions, and contributing to process improvements. Interns work full-time (40 hours per week) on an on-site basis.
What you'll do#
- Track, route, and redirect IT problems to the appropriate resources.
- Walk customers through problem-solving processes and document resolutions for knowledgebase articles and the ITIL library.
- Follow up with customers to provide feedback and ensure issues are resolved.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and closure of support tickets.
- Update customer data and generate activity reports.
- Recommend modifications or improvements to existing procedures.
- Preserve and grow knowledge of help desk products, services, and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a closely related field.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- An innate understanding of technology and a curiosity to learn.

- Location: Richardson, Texas
- Work Modality: On-site
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
