Intern, CADD

About the role#

Halff is seeking a CADD Intern to join the MEP Engineering team in McAllen, Texas. This internship provides an opportunity to engage in drafting and plan preparation while collaborating with design professionals on a variety of infrastructure and building projects.

What you'll do#

• Update and charge mark-up plans in Revit and AutoCAD as directed by the Project Manager.
• Draft electrical layouts for active projects.
• Provide engineering support and assist in problem-solving alongside the project team.
• Manage multiple project assignments simultaneously to ensure efficient and timely completion.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with drafting and plan preparation.
• Familiarity with technical practices related to electrical, HVAC, and plumbing design, as well as mechanical engineering principles.
• Ideally, prior experience or exposure to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design.
• Ability to work effectively with design professionals in a collaborative environment.
