About the role#
Halff is hiring an Environmental Intern for our Austin office. This is a full-time, paid position running from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with various environmental projects.
- Support regulatory permitting and the procurement of necessary approvals.
- Conduct environmental constraints mapping and analysis.
- Participate in wetland delineation and species surveys.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for biology, environmental engineering, environmental science, or natural resources management.
- Strong communication skills.
- A Master's degree is considered a bonus.

- This role is based on-site in Austin, Texas.
- This is a full-time summer 2027 internship.
- Please note that Halff does not provide or pay for housing for interns.
