About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship is an eight to nine week program for undergraduate and graduate students. You will work alongside professionals at all levels to gain hands-on experience in public accounting. The role provides exposure to tax and accounting activities similar to our associate-level hires.
What you'll do#
- Support the tax department with complex tax preparation, research, and compliance.
- Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
- Organize tax records, analyze financial data, and assist with audits.
- Prepare income tax work papers and perform tax technical research.
- Use firm tax preparation software to complete projects within budget and timeline guidelines.
- Perform self-reviews of your work to ensure quality.
- Build relationships with firm professionals and participate in training programs.
- Work with your manager to develop your technical and soft skills.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a willingness to learn new concepts.
- Excellent research skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
