About the role#
Olsen Thielen and Co., Ltd. is seeking a full-time Audit Intern for the Winter 2028 term. This internship runs from January through mid-March 2028. You will receive technical training and mentorship while gaining practical experience in public accounting.
What you'll do#
- Provide hands-on assistance with audits, reviews, and compilations from start to finish.
- Travel to various client sites with your team.
- Work across diverse client niches, including telecommunications, manufacturing, non-profit, and real estate.
- Interact directly with firm partners, managers, directors, and senior accountants.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.25 GPA in your accounting major, with proof required at the time of application and before the start date.
- Completion of at least four accounting courses, including Intermediate Accounting.
- Willingness and motivation to work overtime when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
