    About the role#

    The Human Factors Engineering team at Gulfstream ensures that product development follows a human-centered design approach. You will apply data-driven knowledge about physical and cognitive capabilities to generate design requirements. These requirements support regulatory compliance and certification, helping to ensure that aircraft are safe, easy to use, and efficient for customers.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform trade studies on system design concepts and present human factors requirement recommendations to design teams.
    • Assist in the design of part task simulation evaluations for detailed design requirement definition using software, physical mockups, or predictive modeling tools.
    • Apply appropriate data analysis methods, including descriptive or inferential statistics.
    • Assist in the preparation and execution of simulator plans that use rating scales, questionnaires, and performance measurement calculations.
    • Document evaluations in final engineering reports.
    • Assist with the validation and verification of requirements.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Psychology.
    • Completion of sophomore year prior to the start date.
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which must be listed on your resume.
    • Experience with basic research methods and the use of human subjects in experiments.
    • Prior experience with statistical analysis of survey, evaluation, or test data.
    • Ability to clearly convey technical and non-technical concepts in writing and speech.

    Location & details#

    • This internship is located on-site in Savannah, Georgia.
    • The term for this position is Spring 2027.
    • This is a full-time, paid position.
    • Gulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
