About the role#
The Mass Properties Engineering team is looking for a software development intern to help maintain and improve internal engineering data systems. You will work in an aerospace environment, contributing to the tools that support aircraft manufacturing and product development. This role involves direct collaboration with engineering teams to handle data requests and improve technical processes.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and maintenance of proprietary data management software.
- Build interfaces for company-wide data management systems and engineering workflows.
- Assist with data handling for aircraft structures and systems.
- Respond to specific engineering data requests.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher.
- Completion of your sophomore year before the start date.
- Expected graduation between November 2027 and December 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which must be listed on your resume.
- Experience with software development and compiled programming languages.
- Background in database design, data modeling, or user interface development.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management or engineering data systems.
- Exposure to aerospace disciplines like mass properties or aircraft design.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for the Summer 2027 semester.
- The role is based on-site in Savannah, Georgia.
