About the role#
As an Engineer Collegiate Associate Intern, you will work alongside professional engineering staff to apply your academic knowledge to real-world aviation challenges. This role involves contributing to projects within the Innovation, Engineering, and Flight departments. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting prototype activities and resolving technical issues using company procedures.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical assistance to the engineering team and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
- Apply engineering principles to resolve aircraft-related issues.
- Support component and full-scale aircraft prototype and test activities.
- Generate and analyze technical test data.
- Interface with internal organizations, such as Production Engineering and Manufacturing, as well as external suppliers.
- Develop your understanding of technical theories and concepts within your field.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor degree or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Aeronautical, Systems, or Industrial & Systems Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which must be listed on your resume.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Reliable transportation.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Savannah, Georgia.
- The term begins in January 2027 for the Winter 2027 semester.
- Gulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position.
