About the role#
This is a paid 10-week summer internship program running from May 27, 2027, to August 6, 2027. You will work within our Digital and Technology team, gaining hands-on experience in a global financial services environment. This role involves working on business-critical projects, interacting with senior leaders, and collaborating with teams across our offices. We are looking for current sophomores or juniors pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver trusted data.
- Build scalable data products using structured and semi-structured data to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning.
- Apply modern cloud-based data engineering technologies including Python, SQL, and various orchestration tools.
- Participate in data quality validation, monitoring, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business analysts to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Explore AI-assisted engineering and automation to improve development productivity.
- Develop your skills in data exploration and analysis while learning to think critically.
What you'll need#
- A self-starter mentality with high energy, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
- Exposure to programming with Python and SQL.
- An understanding of databases, data structures, and data processing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, distributed data processing, or modern data engineering technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn, adapt, and collaborate in a team environment.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Locations: New York, NY; Bethlehem, PA; or Holmdel, NJ. Housing is not provided.
