About the role#
As a Quantitative Trader Intern, you will partner with Junior and Senior Traders to gain firsthand experience in the financial services industry. You will participate in a formal internship education program while contributing to the daily operations of the trading desk. This role is designed for individuals who are intellectually curious, competitively driven, and possess a disciplined approach to risk.
What you'll do#
- Develop expertise in relative value market fundamentals.
- Build and maintain quantitative model tools and analytics.
- Actively learn from and analyze real-time trades.
- Assist Junior and Senior Traders across various facets of the trading business.
- Engage in formal internship education programs and research projects.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or Economics.
- Minimum major GPA of 3.5/4 or equivalent scale.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Completion of required math coursework, including Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, Probability, and Advanced Statistics.
- Demonstrated passion for markets, finance, and trading.
