About the role#
Gritt Robotics is seeking an ML & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Intern to own a defined project end-to-end. You will work with a dedicated mentor and present your deliverables to the team. Internships are available for durations of 3 or 6 months on a rolling basis. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Build and operate training, data, and evaluation infrastructure used by the software team.
- Manage GPU clusters, orchestration, and data pipelines at scale.
- Instrument, monitor, and harden the pipelines you develop.
- Test your work directly on robots at the office.
- PhD interns have the opportunity to publish research.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or GCP.
- Demonstrated experience building infrastructure or data systems.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks with light supervision.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Ray, Spark, Terraform, observability stacks, or ML experiment tooling is a plus.
