Student Worker- President's Office Intern

About the role#

The Office of the President at Greenville University provides administrative and operational support to the university leadership. This internship offers experience in executive operations and donor relations. The role requires a commitment of 6 to 10 hours per week, spanning 3 to 5 days, from August to May. Responsibilities include attendance at commencement weekend and Board of Trustees meetings.

What you'll do#

• Assist with daily administrative activities including mailings, drafting emails, and scanning documents.
• Prepare and edit data sheets, meeting notes, agendas, and related documents.
• Handle confidential tasks and notes for the Office of the President.
• Provide on-site support and pre-planning for commencement weekend.
• Run errands on and off-campus.
• Maintain office presence and communication when other administrative staff are unavailable.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the President, executive assistant, or staff.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time student at Greenville University.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment regarding confidential information.
• Interest in areas such as executive leadership, governance, donor relations, or academic administration.
