IT Intern

About the role#

This paid, full-time IT internship provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with experienced professionals to provide technical support for company-issued hardware, software, and network systems. This role is offered on a rolling basis and is designed to accommodate your academic schedule.

What you'll do#

• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software incidents.
• Respond to technical assistance requests in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Install software and hardware, and set up new user workspaces.
• Clean, modify, and repair computer hardware including printers, monitors, and peripherals.
• Manage servers, including user access and account management.
• Track and route incidents while documenting resolutions.
• Identify and escalate urgent issues and collaborate with team members to complete tasks.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Windows 11, Android/iOS, desktop PCs, laptops, and Cisco network/VoIP equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with Office 365.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• A strong customer service orientation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment.
