About the role#
This internship provides John Deere Ag Tech students with hands-on experience in a dealership service department. You will work alongside senior technicians and managers to learn diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures. The program combines classroom learning with practical shop work.
What you'll do#
- Complete project assignments related to dealership service activities.
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, including Ag Management Solutions products.
- Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs to build your skills.
- Stay updated on John Deere products and competitor offerings.
- Track your time and materials used for all assigned tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and complete required documentation for your work.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an AAS Degree program for John Deere Tech.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment.
- Strong communication skills.

- Compensation: $22 per hour for the first year, $24 per hour for the second year.
