About the role#
We are looking for a process engineering intern to join our Fab 9 location in Essex Junction, Vermont. You will support the manufacturing floor by resolving equipment and process issues. This role includes leading a specific project to completion and presenting your results at an end of year intern poster session.
What you'll do#
- Establish and manage the equipment quality control plan.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to support throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
- Define and maintain equipment installation process qualification or roadmaps.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Perform all tasks safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security programs.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA and good academic standing.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Prior internship or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Skills in project management, planning, and organization.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, and Design of Experiments.
