About the role#
This is a temporary accounting student position based at our head office in Montreal. You will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and support the team with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and general ledger tasks. This role offers flexible hours between 7 and 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Verify the accuracy and compliance of integration invoices and maintain related records.
- Support the setup and creation of new suppliers.
- Review and update supplier master data.
- Enter accounts payable data and handle related administrative tasks.
- Prepare reports on fixed assets and maintain supporting documentation.
- Enter journal entries accurately and on time.
- Assist with report preparation, analysis, and special projects.
What you'll need#
- A completed college diploma (DEC) in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
