About the role#
Geoprobe Systems® hires Mechanical Engineering students for a rolling internship based in Salina, Kansas. You will work alongside machine and tool engineers to design, build, and test components for our equipment. This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Design and produce components for Geoprobe machines.
- Develop 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Fabricate and machine production parts alongside our engineering and fabrication teams.
- Make repairs to parts, machines, and fixtures.
- Perform field testing using Geoprobe rigs to evaluate new concepts.
- Collaborate with staff engineers to review project objectives and determine design requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Mechanical Engineering major, specifically a rising senior.
- Mechanical aptitude and a detail-oriented approach to your work.
- Physical strength and coordination to work on heavy machinery.
- Motivation to apply your coursework to practical engineering projects.
- Willingness to collaborate with team members and learn through hands-on experience.

- This role is located on-site in Salina, Kansas.
- The internship is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date.
