About the role#
As a Software Developer Intern on the Genesys Cloud team, you will join a team to deliver new product features. You will participate in a development environment that ships software while maintaining a friendly, laid-back culture. This role offers exposure to leaders across our Cloud business.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test features that meet customer business needs.
- Create features focused on high scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Perform collaborative code reviews with other developers.
- Understand and comply with HIPAA Security and Privacy Laws.
- Adhere to the Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Have fun.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including a solid understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript development practices.
- Familiarity with AWS backend technologies and services.
- Familiarity with Vue.js or other TypeScript-based UI frameworks and libraries.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The position is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- We offer a flexible work model including hybrid, remote, and on-site options.
- Candidates should be able to work from our downtown Toronto office 1-2 days per week, depending on team and business needs.
