Intern Engineering Program Manager

About the role#

As an Engineering Program Manager Intern, you will join the Solar & Storage team to support the development of PV microinverters and ESS battery systems. You will work alongside experienced program managers to help bring clean energy technologies to market, gaining hands-on experience in the hardware development lifecycle from concept through production.

What you'll do#

• Identify technical risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
• Track program schedules, progress, and action items for hardware development.
• Coordinate with hardware, quality, and manufacturing teams to facilitate prototype builds.
• Create reports and status updates for leadership using JIRA, Smartsheets, and Excel.
• Support quality and compliance activities related to hardware deliverables.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Interest in clean energy technology, solar (PV), or energy storage (ESS).

• Location: Reno, Nevada, United States.
• Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
• Term: Rolling.
