    About the role#

    As an Engineering Intern, you will join the embedded team to develop software that powers hardware products. You will work across the entire computer stack, ranging from low-level driver support and operating system upgrades to high-level application and GUI development. You will collaborate with a mentor, as well as cross-functional teams including Hardware, Product Management, and Manufacturing.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop object-oriented software primarily in C++.
    • Work on problems spanning the entire computer stack.
    • Integrate third-party vendor services to enhance platform experiences.
    • Develop and maintain test fixtures used to validate device functionality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party technology partners.

    What you'll need#

    • Current student in Computer Science, Software, Computer, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Practical experience with C/C++ development.
    • Proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, and design patterns.
    • Exposure to writing C/C++ code for complex projects.
    • Experience creating software architecture and design documentation.
