About the role#
As a Web Developer Intern, you will focus on the design and development of database-driven and GIS-based web applications. You will manage the full lifecycle of web components, from initial requirements analysis through to production. This role requires you to deliver high-quality work while adapting to various technical environments.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and deliver websites and web components.
- Build GIS mapping applications and integrated components.
- Create database-driven web applications for clients.
- Manage projects from the initial requirements phase through to final deployment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX.
- Proficiency in at least some of the following: Java, JSP, ASP.NET, XML, and JSON.
- Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle, Access, or SQL Server.
- A detail-oriented approach with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site at our office in Rancho Cordova, California.
