About the role#
As a Strategic Sourcing Intern, you will work with our sourcing professionals to support procurement, supplier engagement, and analytics. This role provides hands-on experience with the processes and tools used to manage supplier performance, cost, and quality within the energy industry. You will receive guidance from team members while developing professional skills through project work and team engagement.
What you'll do#
- Support sourcing projects focused on supplier management, data analysis, and process improvement.
- Assist with supplier research, spend analysis, purchase order review, and savings tracking.
- Learn to use sourcing tools, dashboards, and standard work to help teams make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with partners in Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Legal, and other departments.
- Prepare presentations, trackers, and project updates for team meetings and leadership reviews.
- Identify opportunities to simplify work and improve data quality.
- Participate in team meetings, intern learning experiences, and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Finance.
- Demonstrated academic achievement and an interest in sourcing or supply chain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

- This position is based in Greenville, South Carolina.
- The role is on-site.
- This is a full-time internship with a rolling term.
