About the role#
As an intern on the Sales Strategy and Growth team, you will contribute to projects aimed at driving orders growth for the Controls business. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Longmont, Colorado, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform deep-dive reconciliations between different systems to find process gaps.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality.
- Build and deploy scripts or agents to automate manual reporting tasks.
- Support high-priority strategic initiatives by turning large data sets into visual reports for stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools like Python, SQL, Excel, VBA, or Power BI.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical team members.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- An analytical approach to problem-solving and a high level of self-motivation.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong organizational skills.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn from others, including learning from mistakes.
