About the role#
This internship offers technical training, mentorship, and coaching from experienced managers. You will work on power generation projects, focusing on systems, analysis, design, quality, reliability, and testing. This is a full-time position for the Fall 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform design and analysis for product lines including steam turbines, gas turbines, gas engines, and generators.
- Develop and implement new design concepts and improvements.
- Collaborate with the drafting team to create or update technical drawings.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to solve production problems.
- Expand your technical expertise and build skills in new areas of engineering.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
- You must have one to two semesters remaining before graduation.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
- A self-motivated approach and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
