About the role#
GE Appliances is hiring for a Fall 2027 Engineering and Manufacturing co-op program in LaFayette, Georgia. This full-time, paid position supports our ovens and ranges production. You will work in a team environment across disciplines like shop operations, process engineering, quality, sourcing, and materials management. The program runs from August 16, 2027, to December 10, 2027. Housing and relocation assistance is available for eligible students.
What you'll do#
- Define goals and objectives for your rotation with your assignment leader.
- Lead teams by influencing others across multiple levels of the business.
- Find and develop process improvements using your own initiative.
- Assist your team with the development and execution of project ideas.
- Apply an analytical approach to solve problems.
- Work independently and schedule regular feedback sessions with your manager.
- Support 1st shift operations, which may include occasional overtime or Saturday work.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- A graduation date of May 2028 or later.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
- Willingness to explore various areas of supply chain, including manufacturing, quality, lean, and distribution.

- Reliable transportation to and from the facility is required.
