About the role#
We are hiring three Sales Interns to join our security sales organization in May 2027. This is a full-time, paid, hybrid internship based in Canton, Georgia, requiring three days of in-office work each week. You will gain hands-on experience in business-to-business selling, strategic account development, sales operations, and customer relationship management.
What you'll do#
- Conduct outbound outreach to customers and prospects.
- Support pre-event outreach to schedule meetings for industry events.
- Research target and strategic accounts to identify opportunities and develop account maps.
- Support targeted sales campaigns.
- Research industries, customer challenges, competitive positioning, and relevant solutions.
- Compile research and content for playbooks.
- Gather information for customer quotes and proposals.
- Maintain accurate CRM account, contact, and sales activity data.
- Support lead follow-up, initial qualification, and routing of opportunities.
- Assist with lunch-and-learn sessions and contribute to other strategic sales initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
- Interest in business-to-business sales, account management, customer engagement, or sales operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence engaging customers and prospects by phone and email.
- Strong research, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with a CRM platform is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, use sound judgment, and contribute to the team.
