About the role#
We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our Security Marketing team starting in May 2027. This hybrid position is based in Canton, Georgia, and requires you to work from the office three days each week. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting a wide range of marketing and administrative tasks that help our internal teams, channel partners, and customers. You will contribute to initiatives focused on brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales enablement across the Americas region.
What you'll do#
- Support regional marketing plans, campaigns, and the newsletter program.
- Manage the Security Americas marketing mailbox and coordinate follow-up.
- Assist with industry events, webinars, and post-event communications.
- Support lead management through CRM uploads, list building, and data clean-up.
- Help with SMA renewal triggers and maintenance of associated data.
- Coordinate channel partner onboarding, including merchandise, collateral, and purchase orders.
- Maintain accuracy in contact lists, online marketing libraries, and Asana project tasks.
- Apply Gallagher brand standards across all internal and external communications.
- Collaborate with global marketing, sales, training, and operations teams to improve processes.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Recent graduates or students graduating within six months of the start date are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational, project planning, and time management skills with an ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including careful proofreading and attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills and the confidence to learn new technical systems and product information.
- A collaborative, self-motivated approach to building internal and external relationships.
- Experience with copywriting, email-building, or creative tools like Canva is a plus.
- Familiarity with customer databases or CRM platforms is an advantage.
