About the role#
The Tutoring Fellow program offers recent college graduates the opportunity to work directly with high school students and their families throughout the college admissions process. Fellows provide personalized support, coaching, and mentoring in a one-on-one environment. This position is a full-time commitment for the 2026-27 school year.
What you'll do#
- Provide tutoring and instruction in content and strategies for standardized admissions exams, including the ACT and SAT.
- Support students with subject-specific tutoring in math, science, or foreign languages.
- Help students develop executive functioning and study skills.
- Collaborate with Directors on curriculum research, resource development, and the facilitation of community partnerships.
- Maintain a schedule that includes evening and weekend hours.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor degree from a selective college or university.
- A score at or above the 95th percentile on either the ACT or SAT.
- Prior experience in formal or informal education, such as tutoring, teaching, or serving as a camp counselor.
- Ability to commit to the full 2026-27 academic year.
