About the role#
We are looking for a Lead Math Instructor to join our team in Woodbridge. This is a part-time position that involves both teaching students and providing leadership to other team members. You will work with K-12 students to help them understand and master math concepts using our specific teaching methods.
What you'll do#
- Lead and coach team members while working in a collaborative environment.
- Provide individualized instruction to students in a group setting.
- Teach students in-center or online using the Mathnasium Method.
- Monitor student progress and engagement during sessions.
- Talk with parents and guardians about how their children are performing.
- Learn and use our digital educational materials and internal processes.
What you'll need#
- Math skills through at least Algebra I.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work with students.
- A willingness to learn our training methods.
- The ability to manage both leadership tasks and direct instruction.
- Completion of a math literacy test as part of the hiring process.

- Location: Woodbridge, Connecticut.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Rolling, part-time hours available after school and on weekends.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
