About the role#
This internship supports the Global Creative and Trend team in identifying upcoming fashion movements through research into consumer behaviors, macro trends, and cultural shifts. You will contribute insights that help shape future knitwear collections for global brands while gaining exposure to the full creative process from initial research to product inspiration.
What you'll do#
- Research macro fashion, lifestyle, and consumer trends while monitoring cultural shifts and emerging behaviors.
- Identify emerging brands, designers, creators, and trend movements.
- Scout retail, street style, fashion weeks, and social and digital platforms to track directions in color, silhouette, and texture.
- Create trend reports, mood boards, social content, and seasonal concept presentations.
- Translate research into visual stories using tools like Canva and AI platforms including ChatGPT and Claude.
- Present research and ideas to the creative team to support seasonal concept development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Trend Forecasting, Textile Design, or a related discipline.
- A strong interest in trend forecasting, fashion, retail, and consumer behavior.
- Proficiency or interest in learning Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and AI creative tools.
- Knowledge of knitwear is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Part-time.
- Duration: 12 months.
- Compensation: US$17 per hour (eligible for school credit).
