About the role#
As an AI Intern, you will focus on building and refining AI-powered automations and agents. You will work on operational projects, attend lunch-and-learn sessions, and participate in team networking activities. This role involves contributing to project showcases that highlight your work throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Create, test, and iterate on AI-powered automations and agents.
- Implement and maintain AI-driven tools to monitor infrastructure performance, detect anomalies, and reduce alert fatigue.
- Analyze large operational datasets and prepare or annotate data to train or refine AI models.
- Map existing manual workflows, document new AI processes, and update playbooks.
- Test prototypes for accuracy, investigate root causes of issues, and track operational KPIs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, IT, or a related field.
- Prior experience with AI projects, whether through personal work, academic projects, or Kaggle competitions.
- Basic proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, LLMs, and foundational machine learning concepts.
- Familiarity with or interest in learning observability tools, cloud platforms, or automation platforms.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with an expected hourly rate of $40 - $60 per hour. Interns are eligible to participate in the company equity program.
