About the role#
The DREAM Center at Florida International University is looking for a Student Project Assistant to support its communications and digital media efforts. This position is primarily remote and offers a rate of $15.00 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Edit webinar and podcast videos, including preparing transcripts, adding branded segments, incorporating music and transitions, and ensuring accessibility through captions.
- Prepare video content for online publication.
- Develop social media content such as graphics, posts, short-form videos, and reels.
- Design promotional materials and flyers for webinars, conferences, and other events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an FIU student, with a minimum of 6 credits for undergraduates or 3 credits for graduate students during the Fall and Spring semesters.
- Experience with video editing, production, and managing social media content.
- Proficiency in Canva and digital design tools.
- Strong written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Creativity and attention to detail.

- Location: Based at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus in Miami, Florida.
