About the role#
The Venue Sourcing Intern supports the venue sourcing team in the end-to-end site selection process for meetings and events. This position provides hands-on experience in venue operations, systems, and client service within a global brand experience agency. This is a paid, part-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify venues for meetings and events.
- Assist in reviewing venue contracts and client addendums for accuracy.
- Prepare and submit Request for Proposals (RFPs) using platforms such as Cvent.
- Track and organize venue responses, availability, and pricing details.
- Compile cost comparisons and track potential savings for clients.
- Maintain and update venue information in Cvent and internal databases.
- Support the coordination of site visits, including logistics and materials preparation.
- Contribute to client reports, presentations, and creative sourcing solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current student or graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Logistics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workloads.
- Creative problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site, minimum of 20-25 hours per week (3 days per week).
- Compensation: $20/hr for undergraduate students, $25/hr for graduate students.
