About the role#
This is a paid internship program for undergraduate or graduate students interested in the events and experiences industry. You will work in a corporate environment as an in-person implant within our Solutions account, providing daily administrative and logistical support to a team of Project Managers. This role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week, including 3 days in the office.
What you'll do#
- Support the Events Team with all aspects of delivering virtual and live events.
- Research and source new suppliers, contacts, and venues.
- Organize and order event materials and supplies.
- Prepare documents, presentation materials, and meeting arrangements.
- Compile paperwork, including contracting and onboarding requirements.
- Maintain electronic event files, reports, and internal documents.
- Provide on-site support at events as needed.
- Act as an ambassador for the FIRST brand.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Public Health.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent project management skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work as a team player, take direction, and operate autonomously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
