About the role#
FINN Partners is seeking full-time interns for the Fall 2026 term. This 12-week program runs from September through early December. Interns work 20-30 hours per week, with start and end dates adjusted to accommodate academic calendars. This is a paid position that may be used to earn course credit.
What you'll do#
- Monitor education trade publications and mainstream media to compile clips for clients.
- Research key client issues and develop policy trackers or media insights.
- Draft written materials including press releases, advisories, and briefing documents.
- Support media relations outreach by building media lists and preparing pitch materials.
- Provide general account support, such as participating in internal and client calls.
What you'll need#
- Interest in the US education system and a career in public relations.
- Strong writing and editing skills for various platforms and tones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of social media tools and platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining self-management on assigned tasks.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or Public Health.

- This role is available as either fully remote or hybrid.
- We prioritize candidates based near our New York, NY or Washington, D.C. offices.
- This is a paid internship. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship.
