About the role#
Ferguson Construction is seeking students for Field and Office Co-op positions during the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time opportunity for students currently enrolled in Civil Engineering or related fields. These roles provide hands-on experience in construction administration and field operations. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
Field Co-ops work alongside construction professionals to learn skilled trades and contribute to project completion. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and cost management.
- Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring quality construction standards.
- Collaborating with project stakeholders and providing customer service.
- Participating in daily site activities.
Office Co-ops support our administrative and project teams. Responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative assistance to leadership, project management, HR, engineering, safety, and architecture teams.
- Supporting the smooth and efficient operation of office tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program related to the construction industry.
- A desire for professional growth and long-term career thinking.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- A growing familiarity with the construction industry.
- High motivation and attention to detail (specifically for Office Co-op roles).
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug test is required for all new hires.
