About the role#
Farbman Group is hiring an accounting intern for the Fall 2026 term. This part-time position is based at our corporate office in Farmington Hills. We offer a flexible schedule to help you balance your class load while gaining practical experience in the commercial real estate sector.
What you'll do#
- Assist with job cost accounting.
- Help prepare financial reports.
- Support the annual Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliation process.
- Work on special projects as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree program.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
- The ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism.
