About the role#
The Project Engineering Intern will join our team at the Coopersville, Michigan production plant. You will work alongside full-time staff to understand the daily operations and responsibilities of a plant engineering team. This is a full-time, paid internship running from May 24 through August 10, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Lead and collaborate on high-priority engineering projects.
- Create new processes and standards for the facility.
- Report on project results to the Capital Projects Manager.
- Work with contractors and provide instructions as needed.
- Maintain food safety and quality standards by identifying and recording process issues.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year undergraduate degree program, entering your senior year in the Fall of 2027.
- Preferred major in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Ability to work independently with guidance.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a production environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday.
