    About the role#

    The Project Engineering Intern will join our team at the Coopersville, Michigan production plant. You will work alongside full-time staff to understand the daily operations and responsibilities of a plant engineering team. This is a full-time, paid internship running from May 24 through August 10, 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Lead and collaborate on high-priority engineering projects.
    • Create new processes and standards for the facility.
    • Report on project results to the Capital Projects Manager.
    • Work with contractors and provide instructions as needed.
    • Maintain food safety and quality standards by identifying and recording process issues.
    • Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a four-year undergraduate degree program, entering your senior year in the Fall of 2027.
    • Preferred major in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
    • Ability to work independently with guidance.
    • Comfort with ambiguity and a production environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

    • Location: Coopersville, Michigan.
    • Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 to August 10).
