About the role#
EY is seeking an intern to join our Technology Strategy and Transformation team for the Winter 2027 term. You will support a major technology transformation project for a leading Canadian retailer. Over a 12-week period, you will assist with the rollout of a new technology platform across approximately 40 retail locations, including new point-of-sale equipment and inventory management processes. This is an on-site role that requires travel to support project needs, which may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Provide onsite support to store employees during rollout activities.
- Reinforce training and help teams adopt new processes and technology.
- Answer questions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Act as a liaison between store teams and the central command centre.
- Help ensure each location has a successful go-live experience.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related major.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability to travel as needed to support project requirements.
- Demonstrated project management, teaming, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to integrity within a professional environment.
- For Quebec-based roles, fluency in both French and English is required.
- Proficiency in AI usage, including structured problem framing, prompt capability, creative problem solving, and the ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs while maintaining data sensitivity.
