About the role#
We are looking for a Finance Intern to support our accounting team in Montreal. This role involves handling day-to-day financial documentation and data entry. You will work on-site and have the opportunity to balance your academic schedule with professional experience.
What you'll do#
- File and maintain physical and electronic financial documents.
- Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices into our accounting system.
- Assist with matching and coding invoices while obtaining necessary approvals.
- Support vendor record maintenance and general document management.
- Reconcile invoice discrepancies or track down missing documentation.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, and data cleanup.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a recognized educational institution with a focus on Finance or Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A meticulous and precise approach to your work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional conduct.
