About the role#
As an Optician Student at Lunët Espace Vision, you will support the practice by providing high-quality service to patients. You will assist with eyewear selection, take precise measurements, and ensure that finished products meet company standards. This position is a part-time, on-site role based in Levis.
What you'll do#
- Help patients select frames and lenses that fit their vision, lifestyle, and budget.
- Assist opticians with contact lens information and patient support.
- Take and record measurements, and adjust glasses for a proper fit.
- Verify that finished eyewear meets all optical and patient requirements.
- Operate the point of sale system to process transactions and enter patient data accurately.
- Explain delivery timelines to patients.
- Anticipate and resolve potential issues by identifying root causes.
- Collaborate with team members and assist with questions or tasks.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an optician program.
- Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
- Strong customer service skills, including listening and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to adopt new technologies and adapt to change.
- Prior experience in eye care is preferred.
