About the role#
The Research and Development Intern will support the development of next-generation regenerative tissue products at Ostoegenics Biomedical. This role offers hands-on experience in commercial product development, including experimental design, testing, and prototype evaluation. We welcome applications from current Master's or PhD students, as well as recent graduates.
What you'll do#
- Perform laboratory work such as sample preparation, processing, characterization, and testing.
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments for novel regenerative tissue products.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data using statistical methods.
- Help develop and evaluate new product concepts, prototypes, and manufacturing approaches.
- Conduct literature reviews to support prototype development.
- Maintain accurate research documentation and laboratory notebooks.
- Support verification and validation testing activities.
- Participate in research discussions to improve product performance and clinical utility.
- Follow all laboratory safety procedures and quality system requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's or PhD in Biology, Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Tissue Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Ability to conduct organized experimental work and keep detailed records.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly in writing and speech.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with mentorship.
- Experience conducting laboratory research in an academic, industrial, or clinical setting.
- Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis.
