Summer Intern, Brand Creative Studio: Design

About the role#

The Brand Creative Studio team at Emerson Collective drives brand strategy and storytelling through advertising, marketing, and design. As a Design intern, you will contribute to the visual identity of the organization and its initiatives. You will work alongside designers, strategists, and brand builders to explore how design shapes storytelling and impact, gaining experience in both core project execution and daily design operations.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the Creative team to produce high-quality design assets.
• Own 1-2 core projects from initial concept through final execution.
• Support daily design needs, including the creation of digital content, social media assets, and print collateral.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative discussions, and design critiques to offer fresh perspectives.
• Maintain brand consistency by ensuring all work adheres to established design guidelines.
• Develop presentation templates and design decks as needed.

What you'll need#

• Rising undergraduate student (junior or senior) in graphic design, visual arts, marketing, communications, or media studies.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for design.
• Ability to work collaboratively and openness to receiving constructive feedback.
• A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate your design skills and problem-solving approach.

Location & details#

• Location: Los Angeles, California.
• Term: Summer 2026 (June 15 through August 7, 2026).
• Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: Paid position ($25 per hour).
• Onboarding: Mandatory virtual onboarding and orientation takes place June 10–12, 2026.
