About the role#
As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will join our team at the monoclonal antibody manufacturing site in Elwood, Kansas. You will support the oversight of manufacturing and distribution for our commercial products. This role offers exposure to quality management systems, pharmaceutical products, and audit processes within a regulated environment.
What you'll do#
- Define, measure, analyze, and improve processes within the quality organization.
- Learn how quality standards support manufacturing operations and business goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams on inspection-readiness activities, investigations, and improvement projects.
- Assist with production and analytical processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Contribute to study design improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an academic program focusing on Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related engineering field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- A willingness to learn and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Location & details#
- Location: Elwood, Kansas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17 to August 6).
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Travel: Approximately 10 percent travel to our corporate facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, for program opening and closing events.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
