About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship based in a branch office. You will work alongside a Financial Advisor and their support team to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. The program focuses on professional development, networking, and exposure to daily branch operations.
What you'll do#
- Support daily branch operations and learn the technical tools used in client service.
- Observe client appointments, phone calls, and prospecting efforts to understand how Financial Advisors build relationships.
- Participate in pre-meeting strategy sessions and listen to clients' financial objectives.
- Attend product knowledge sessions with internal partners and connect with Product Partners to explore business ideas.
- Engage with branch and market leadership and visit additional Financial Advisors in the field.
- Collaborate with fellow interns to share insights and experiences during group calls.
What you'll need#
- You are entering your Junior or Senior year of college in the fall of 2027.
- You are enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- You are available to work on-site for 10 consecutive weeks from June through August 2027.
- You show leadership through campus or community involvement and are motivated to succeed.
- We prefer candidates on the CFP track or those participating in the NSSI program.
- You have an interest in obtaining your CFP designation early in your career.
