About the role#
Econ One is hiring Summer Analysts for the Healthcare Economics Practice Group for the summer of 2027. You will work with economists, consultants, and senior analysts on projects involving economic analysis and econometrics for healthcare litigation and public policy. The group supports experts in antitrust, class action, and commercial disputes, including cases on pharmaceutical pricing, medical monitoring costs, and health care reimbursement.
What you'll do#
- Import, process, and analyze data using SAS, Stata, and Python.
- Draft technical memos explaining the steps taken to clean and analyze complex datasets.
- Identify deficiencies in data productions and draft data questionnaires.
- Review and log produced documents and depositions.
- Extract information required for analysis and reports.
- Conduct research and identify relevant peer-reviewed literature.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior majoring in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Coursework in quantitative fields like economics, finance, mathematics, or statistics.
- Introductory knowledge of SAS, Stata, Python, or similar statistical software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with data presentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Dedication to seeing projects through to completion.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time remote internship.
- The hourly rate for this position is $30 to $40.
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
