About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship based at our Tech Center in Lyon Station, Pennsylvania. You will work alongside experienced professionals on engineering projects that span from initial concept to final implementation. This role is full-time and on-site.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and development of engineering projects.
- Conduct experiments and document results accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to improve existing processes.
- Analyze data and create reports to present your findings.
- Support the development of project proposals and technical documents.
- Participate in group meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
- Learn and apply software tools used in engineering design and analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related science field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with software such as VBA, Minitab, Matlab, Python, and Office 365 is preferred.
