About the role#
Duininck Golf offers a hands-on internship for students interested in golf course construction. You will report to the on-site Project Superintendent and gain experience across various aspects of our field operations. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Project Superintendents, Estimator/Project Managers, and the General Manager.
- Work alongside laborers to learn all aspects of golf course construction.
- Manage small crews and assist with scheduling and critical path timelines.
- Participate in construction meetings with owners, architects, and engineers.
- Handle as-built plans, plan reading, and surveying tasks.
- Document daily activities and conduct safety checks.
- Perform estimating and quantity takeoffs.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to lift objects up to 80 pounds.
- Capability to walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch, and sit for extended periods.
- Readiness to work extended hours outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work on Saturdays.
- Commitment to following all safety regulations and Personal Protective Equipment requirements.

- Location: Delano, Minnesota, with travel required to project sites.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Pay: $20 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site, full-time.
