About the role#
Doggett Equipment Services Group is hiring an intern to join our F&I department in Converse, Texas. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling start date. You will work alongside our team to learn daily operations and apply your academic background to real-world business tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support deal processing, documentation, and funding workflows.
- Prepare finance packages, credit applications, and deal summaries.
- Analyze deals for profitability, pricing structure, and risk.
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, and tracking performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support deal flow.
- Observe customer financing discussions and product presentations.
- Learn compliance standards for lending and contracts.
- Participate in leadership meetings and operational reviews.
- Work on special projects to improve process efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, or work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of professionalism and integrity.
